Forever Fabrication’s custom rear sump oil pan for the Vortec 4200 is purpose-built for engine swaps and high-performance applications. Whether you're fitting the 4200 into a drift car, trail rig, or street project, this oil pan solves the clearance issues found with the factory setup — all while improving oil control and turbo readiness.

Our design features a wing-style shape that’s wider rather than deep, allowing for better ground clearance while still holding approximately 6 quarts of oil. Constructed from 14-gauge steel with a robust 1/4” CNC-cut flange, each pan is fully welded for long-term durability and leak prevention.

To support turbocharged builds, we’ve also integrated a -10AN female bung for an oil drain return, and included internal baffling to reduce oil slosh under hard driving conditions. A relocated dipstick port rounds out the package to ensure easy and accurate oil checks post-install.

We offer a bolt-in pickup tube, repurposed from a factory Colorado part and modified to mount directly to your 4200 block. This option saves you time and the hassle of custom fab work, making installation even easier.
