Jan. 8th PM- Intro to TIG Welding (GTAW) Class

Join us for a hands-on 4-hour Intro to TIG Welding (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding - GTAW) class, perfect for beginners or those looking to refine their welding skills. This comprehensive workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of TIG welding, giving you the opportunity to work with various metals under expert guidance.

Date and Time:
January 8th, 2025 @ 5:30pm to 9:30pm 

What to Expect:

• Safety First: The class will begin with approximately 1 hour of classroom instruction, covering safety procedures and an introduction to TIG welding parts and components.
• Hands-On Practice: The remaining 3 hours will focus on welding practice, where you will weld on 2"x6" coupons in a variety of ways, working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Each material will be covered in one-hour sections to give you time to develop skills with each process.

Class Size and Cancellations:
Classes are limited to ensure personalized instruction. If fewer than 3 people sign up, the class may be canceled with a full refund.

Age Requirement:
Participants must be at least 18 years old to attend the class. Minors (ages 16-17) may join with a signed consent form from a parent or guardian and must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation Policy:

• Full refund up to one week before the class.
• 75% refund if you cancel up to the day of the class.

Required Attire:

• Closed-toe shoes (preferably boots)
• Full-length pants (Jeans are best)
• Long-sleeve shirt (100% cotton and one you don’t care much about)
• Welding gloves (rentable)
• Welding helmet (rentable)

Important: If you arrive without proper attire, you will be asked to leave, and a 50% refund will be issued.

Equipment Rental: Welding gloves and helmets can be rented for $20. Make sure to select this option when reserving your seat or bring cash on the day of the class.
