A proven solution for rear sump Vortec 4200 swaps — now available as a standalone part.

This is the same rear sump oil pickup included with our custom 4200 oil pans, now offered individually for builders creating their own pans or modifying existing setups.

We start with a brand-new OE-style 5-cylinder pickup tube, then:

  • Cut, extended, and TIG-welded to fit the Vortec 4200

  • Fitted with a custom-welded bracket for secure bolt-in support

  • Test-fit and refined for real-world clearance and reliability

  • Fully pressure-checked and ready to install

⚠️ Note: This pickup is already included with our complete 4200 oil pan. You do NOT need to purchase it separately if you're ordering one of our pans.

✅ Key Features

  • Fits GM Vortec 4200 (4.2L Atlas inline-six)

  • Converts front sump setup to rear sump configuration

  • Designed to bolt into the factory oil pump location

  • Includes welded bracket for proper alignment

  • TIG-welded and pressure-tested in-house

📏 Fitment & Clearance

In a 2005 Nissan 350Z chassis swap, this pickup sits approximately (x). inches from the lowest point of the oil pan to the crossmember/cradle.

This clearance makes it ideal for lowered vehicles, road course builds, or tight swap applications where ground clearance is critical.

📦 What’s Included

  • Welded mounting bracket

  • Gasket and mounting bolts

  • Ready to bolt in with no fabrication required
